The association of Universities in Bogotá, the British ELT publishers represented in Colombia, the Centro Colombo Americano, ASOCOPI and the British Council are organising the 2010 version of the NATIONAL ELT CONFERENCE with the theme: Challenges for the ELT Syllabus: Developing Competencies for the 21st Century.
English Language Teaching faces the challenge of contributing to general competence development at all levels of education. The 13th edition of the National ELT Conference aims at gaining insights on the role and challenges of ELT practitioners and educators.
The Conference will be held in Bogotá, Colombia, from 21 to 23 April 2010 at Universidad de La Salle, Sede Chapinero. This event seeks to be a forum for researchers, teacher educators, academic coordinators, practitioners and decision makers to share a critical and constructive assessment of current research and practice on the teaching of English.
