| Guilherme comes from the city of São Paulo and his awareness of Climate Change issues became more heightened at his school, Bandeirantes, where the subject of global warming was raised during geography and chemistry lessons. Guilherme took part in an important university forum for young people, where he represented Jordan and the UK at the forum’s United Nations Commission for Sustainable Development. There they discussed issues related to the environment, such as water resources and climate change. He has also represented Brazil in international events, notably during the Global Humanitarian Forum of 2008, where he acted as a climate witness. He is regularly asked by the media to give his impressions on the state of affairs in Brazil regarding climate change. |
