We are currently working in partnership with Constella Future Group and Family Health International to implement a 5-year New HIV/AIDS project funded by DfID. The key recipients are Ministry of Health and the State Council AIDS Working Committee Office in China.

The new HIV/AIDS project will support the implementation of China’s National Medium-Long Term HIV AIDS Plan, particularly the achievement of the Three Ones (One HIV/AIDS Action Framework, One National AIDS Co-ordinating Authority, One Country-level Monitoring and Evaluation System). It aims to support and strengthen national efforts to tackle HIV and AIDS, working through existing government systems.

Support should be harmonized with the Global Fund programme on HIV, in order to simplify management, reporting and monitoring systems.  This support will enable expanded coverage, and greater depth, in the Government HIV Prevention and Care Programme (known as China Cares).
