Chinese and British police departments exchange expertise

We work with the Ministry of Public Security to assist its current reform of the police supervision system. Chinese and British police departments both consider this a priority area which has made the project a success. During the past two years, police representatives from China and the UK have made exchange visits.

The British police department introduced the police supervision system and shared their expertise with Chinese counterparts through a professional training course.

Between 2003-2005, the Ministry of Public Security will send three teams consisting of 45 policemen to a police college and Queen’s Police Supervision Agency in the UK to study and pay exchange visits. Britain will send experts to China and organise professional exchanges with Chinese police supervisors.
