Judicial Review
Judicial review is a priority area in the recent construction of the legal system in China. With China's entry into WTO, this area attracts increasing concern. In October 2002, we worked with the Supreme High Court to establish the Judicial Review Project and arranged for 8 Chinese judges to visit Britain.

Public Order Administration Project
This project is part of a comprehensive and comparative research on Public Order Administration, which was carried out by the Legislative Affairs Office, State Council (LAO). We have been working with LAO on the Public Order Legislation study since June 2002 and jointly organised the Sino-British Workshop on Legislation of Public Order Administration on 9-10 January 2003.

Study Tour on Administration Reconsideration
A delegation from the State Council legislative affairs office visited UK from 11 to 18 October 2003.  During the tour senior Chinese officials looked at the UK system for administrative reconsideration and approaches to citizen’s rights of re-dress during administrative procedures.
