Cancer Research Fellowship

To support outstanding young investigators who have shown special promise in their initial studies in cancer research, providing them with an opportunity to establish an independent research group.

Description: Annual fellowship to provide up to 6 years support for an outstanding clinical researcher.

Type: Fellowship

Duration:  > 3 years

Funding: Salaries for PI plus 2 support staff at appropriate levels. Running costs of up to £36,000 per year subject to staffing levels. Equipment up to £50,000. Contribution towards travel costs of £500 per person per year. Fellowships are expected to cost £1m for the 6 years support.
