Space Competitions
Two great competitions with exciting prizes to be won!
Space Quiz

How much do you know about space? As part of Space Week, we are running a Space Quiz to test your knowledge of space science, space technology, space history and astronomy.

Anyone aged between 11 and 35 can enter. There are twenty questions in the first round. Twelve qualifiers will go through to the final and finalists will be asked questions about their knowledge of space. The first prize will be an opportunity to attend Space School UK from 6 to 18 August 2004, with all expenses paid.

Water Rocket Competition

The Water Rocket Competition will test your skills as a Junior Rocket Scientist.  Your task is to build and demonstrate a model rocket powered by water. Such a rocket can be easily constructed using a fizzy-drink (PTFE) bottle as the main body.

All you need to do is design and build a rocket based on the rules and bring it along to the launch venue.
