Keep updated on our Science activities near you and in the UK.

Dare to be Digital 2008

Dare to be Digital is a unique digital competition open to students (either undergraduate or postgraduate), studying at Universities and Colleges of Art.

This year, four Chinese students from Peking University finally overcame fierce competition against another 2 teams from Wuhai University and Peking University to win places in the final of the UK’s premier video games design competition.

Climate Cool
In 2007, we launched a two-year initiative called Climate Cool. This initiative has been developed in response to international calls for action to tackle climate change and increasing UK-China collaboration in this regard. Climate Cool builds on the success of our ZeroCarbonCity campaign in 2005/2006. Climate Cool aims to raise awareness of climate change and encourage participants to take individual action to reduce the impact of climate change. The Climate Cool initiative has been developed in cooperation with the Ministry of Science & Technology and will be implemented in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Chongqing.
