Law and Governance

We have been working in the field of Governance in China since 1989. We have well established links in the legal field based on the United Kingdom’s historic tradition as the birthplace of common law systems of law.

More recently we have strengthened our governance programme to work in areas which reflect both our values and those of our Chinese partners. For example, we are delighted to be working with Chinese organisations actively responding to China’s ‘Small Government, Big Society’ agenda as China plans for its second phase of transition.

Our key working areas include Government and Policy Innovation, Legal Innovation, and social Innovation.
