IELTS

The International English Language Testing System helps you meet the English language requirements for college entry and visa processing. We conduct IELTS examinations on behalf of the China IELTS Network – a partnership between the British Council and IDP Education Australia – in collaboration with more than 26 IELTS test centres throughout China.

We work with a wide range of professional exam boards in the UK to administer exams.

News: The British Council, Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou office have been authorized as ACCA Computer Based Exam (CBE) centre, and computer based exam in 2013 is open for registration now. Please keep an eye on our official website for more information: www.britishcouncil.org.cn. Currently the CBE exams could be chosen for the following papers: F1-F3, FA1, MA1, FA2, MA2, FFA, FMA and FABF.

University Exams

We organise exams on behalf of a number of UK and international universities and institutes that cover a wide range of academic and vocational subjects.

School Exams

We run secondary school examinations on behalf of a number of UK examination boards, including CIE and Edexcel, as well as entrance exams for other schools.
