The College of Estate Management (CEM) is the leading international body providing distance learning education and training to property professions and the construction industry.

Development in China
In May 2000, CEM and the China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC) signed a collaborate agreement intended to improve the international academic exchanges of the professional personnel of the two countries.

The first training course was started in July 2001 and involved 17 trainees. The second training course was started in July 2002 and involved15 trainees.

By successfully completing the course of study and succeeding in the set examination eight trainees received a qualification certificate.
