CAE (Certificate in Advanced English) & CPE (Certificate of Proficiency in English)

CERTIFICATE IN ADVANCED ENGLISH (CAE)

At Cambridge level 4, this offers a lower-advanced language qualification for those who need to use English in their jobs. Many universities recognise CAE as an English language entry requirement. At this level, learners can be expected to cope confidently in most situations that would arise in an English speaking country - socially, professionally and in higher education.

CERTIFICATE OF PROFICIENCY IN ENGLISH (CPE)

CPE is a high level examination for learners of English. It is also the fifth and highest level of the Cambridge Main Suite examinations. At this stage, learners are approaching a standard of English similar to that of an educated native speaker, and they can be expected to cope in nearly all situations in an English speaking environment.
