Exercising eyes together – at the Developing Youth through Sport Conference held in Shanghai in November 2003, a UK teacher is practising eye exercises with the guidance of an experienced Chinese teacher.

Fifteen young leaders from schools around Shanghai organised a mini sports competition for their fellow school students as part of the British Council Dreams and Teams project, which began in 2001. In organising the event, the students improved their skills in leadership and decision-making. They also taught their fellow school students about issues such as safety and fair-play when participating in sports competitions.
