In 2002, Qingdao No. 39 School invited students from Frederick Gough School (Lincolnshire, UK) to the celebration of the school’s 50th anniversary. The two schools performed a joint music concert and participated in many joint cultural activities, such as creating Chinese paper cuts.
Culture
Teachers from Bashu Primary School in Chongqing teaching Chinese calligraphy to pupils at their partner school, St Joan of Arc Catholic School in Bootle, Merseyside, during their visit to the UK in January 2004.
