Xiamen Summer School 2005
School Links Programme
Our School Links programme facilitates education co-operation between schools in UK and schools in China creating an opportunity for cultural exchange, language learning and professional development. One element of this programme is arranging Chinese language and culture summer camps in China for secondary school students from the UK.

2005 XIAMEN SUMMER SCHOOL : 24 July-5 Aug 2005

It’s the second time for Xiamen to host the Chinese Summer School and welcome 10 teachers and 48 students from Dunbar Grammar School of Scotland, Henry Cort Community School, Malet Lamber School, Pate’s Grammar School and St Peter’s Roman Catholic High School.

Over 60 Chinese students from the Xiamen No.1 Middle School, Xiamen Foreign Language School and the XM Institute of Technology have been invited to join the Summer School.  During the two-week programme, they will have plenty of time to know each other, learn together, have fun together, and most importantly to nurture a life-long friendship.
