How to develop your school partnership?

There are no set rules in how to create a partner relationship but we have found the following process works well for both parties:

UK teacher makes contact with your school in China and makes a visit
Both parties discuss areas of mutual interest and agree to become partner schools
UK or Chinese head teacher visits partner school to agree framework, details of agreement and how the partnership will work.
Student delegation visits partner school and start joint projects.
Students keep in contact using e-mail and internet.

There are many different ways of working to achieve partnership objectives. Have a look at some of the ideas we are currently putting into practice.

Individual partner schools can choose areas of co-operation and joint achievements. Read about the co-operation between Changzheng Middle School and Ashcoombe School.
