Application Process

Step 1: November 2011 - February 2012

Start preparing application documents and conduct research into the subject and university you intend to study

Step 2: By 07 February 2012  

Candidates submit following documents:

1.On-line Chevening application forms

2.Three copies of satisfactory and valid IELTS test report form.

3.Three sets of reference forms (academic and professional) (one original copy and two copies for both academic and professional)

4.UK institutions' acknowledgement of application (offer or initial correspondence with UK institutions)

5.Two copies of all relevant higher education academics qualification and transcript with English translation

Step 3: March - April 2012

Interview period. Applicants should have their choice of the subject and institution they will study in the UK by then. Applicants should arrange their business plan beforehand

Step 4: end of May 2012

Interview results are announced. Successful candidates confirm unconditional offer

Step 5: June - July 2012

Successful candidates do medical check, submit passport and visa forms, attend pre-departure briefing and meet Chevening alumni and Chevening officers from the British Embassy/Consulate-General.

Step 6: July – August 2012

Confirm accommodation and issue air tickets and visas.

Step 7: September – October 2012  

Depart for the UK
