2013 UK Career Advisers’ Mission to China

In March 2013, we held the first visit for careers advisers based at institutions across the UK to China to facilitate links between Chinese businesses and UK institutions. This provided a platform for UK institutions to discuss internship opportunities, recruitment fairs and understand the needs of employers in China.

2013 UK-China Student Forum

In May 2013, the inaugural UK-China Student Forum was an excellent opportunity to hear from the next young leaders from the UK and China who engaged on issues surrounding international education and internationalization, raising awareness of the increasing significance of global mobility and the benefits of international experience.

The Forum was organised in partnership with China Youth Daily and welcomed eight student representatives from the UK to Beijing where they took part in a week of activities related to global student mobility with eight Chinese student counterparts.
