Wang Chuan is a graduate of Tianjin Fine Arts Institute and has held two individual exhibitions -<Balance> and <Hero>. <People Living in Particular Area> is an exploration by the artist in bewilderment. No answer is given whereas such bewilderment still exists and encourages the artist to keep on exploring. Contemplations instead of presumptions are needed, even though answers might not necessarily be obtained in the end.
Wang Chuan graduated from Tianjin Fine Arts Institute majoring in oil painting and studied in France for one year as an exchange student. Wang Chuan studied the basics of traditional painting and theories of art in Tianjin Fine Arts Institute for three years, and went to France for one-year scholarly exchange, touching and studying visual and installation art. While studying in Tianjin Fine Arts Institute, he held two individual exhibitions – “Balance” and “Hero”. And in France, he took part in the exhibition titled “COLLECTIONS”.
2005 – 2006 Studied in Ecole Regionale Superieure d'Expression Plastique de Tourcoing of France as an exchange student of Tianjing Fine Arts Institute.
2003 – 2007 Studied in the Second Studio of Oil Painting Department, Tianjin Fine Arts Institute.
