In 2005 she was the first artist in residence at the National Library of Wales, a 12 month residency, where the artist was located in a studio amongst 120 miles of shelving of books, artifacts, films and art collections.

What she will share with the young artists and arts students in China are her in-residence experience and the challenge and inspiration faced by the artists in creation and thinking when they contact with different languages, topics and exotic cultures.
