Strobolight EXPO Tour

Oxford, known as the "city of dreaming spires", is famous not just for its prestigious university, rich history and high-tech industries. It has also played an important role in the UK’s indie music scene, producing many successful bands including Supergrass, Foals and the legendary Radiohead.

Strobolight are a 4-piece indie / post rock band from Oxford. The four members met while studying at Oxford University. Strobolight reject verse-chorus song structures in favour of a more classical approach, often with non-repeating phrases. Vocals are featured sparingly as the material focuses on catchy instrumental phrases and dynamics.

Strobolight’s music is universal, capturing emotion and intensity in a way that appeals to the discerning listener from both west and east.

Strobolight has been invited by the British Council to perform at the UK Pavilion at the Shanghai World Expo, and they will also be performing at the World Expo Music Festival.

Strobolight Expo Tour Date and Venue:

14th July 20:00, World Expo Music Festival (30 minutes)
15th July 19:30, UK Pavilion (45 minutes)
16th July 19:30, UK Pavilion (45 minutes)
17th July 18:00, World Expo Music Festival (30 minutes)
