The success of MACBETH inaugurated a cycle of Shakespeare productions that have given more performances in more countries than any other theatre company since 2000. This is TNT’s seventh tour of China with a Shakespearian production. MACBETH was the company’s first Shakespeare production, premiered in 2000.The production has been regularly revived with many of the original cast. It is possibly the most performed international touring version of any Shakespearian play in the last ten years.
