You can travel between Greenwich and central London by bus, tube, railway and boat which makes it a popular place to live for commuters. The parks and local amenities mean it is also a good place for families to live. Greenwich’s history is closely linked to the docklands which were once vital for trade and industry, but have now been regenerated and offer everything from canoeing to dragon boat racing as well as new offices and bars.

What is There For Young People To Do?
'It's on London's doorstep so it's really easy to go into London to socialise and see friends. In Greenwich there are bars, restaurants, a comedy club, dance clubs and cinemas. The bars and restaurants are very multi-cultural with popular noodle bars and Mexican restaurants alongside the very British pie and mash shop.'

Do Any Big Festivals Or Events Take Place in Greenwich?
'Greenwich marks the starting point of the London Marathon and there are lots of other entertainment events going on, especially during the summer with regular festivals usually with lots of street theatre. In 2012 London is hosting the Olympics and Greenwich will be hosting nine of the 21 events including shooting, equestrian, basketball and gymnastics.'

Overall a fantastic place to live!
