Arts and Culture
Britain is an extremely diverse and progressive nation with a strong culture of social integration and tolerance. Britain was the dominant industrial and maritime power of the 19th century and played a leading role in developing parliamentary democracy and in advancing literature and science.

Culture
The culture of the United Kingdom, a blend of ancient and modern, holds true to its historic past while readily recognising that many modern day events play an important role in the cultural life of the citizens. Scotland with its music and games, Northern Ireland with its festivals and exhibitions, Wales with its legends and myths and England with its traditions and customs form a cherished and proud cultural mosaic.
 Festival
For those of you who love festivals, England holds its traditional St. George's Day celebrations on April 23 each year as well as modern and trendy exhibitions throughout the year.  Scotland's annual festivals are world famous as people throughout the world are welcome to participate.  Whatever kind of festival you most enjoy, whether it be big or small, you are bound to find it in either Wales or Northern Ireland
politics & History
Walk in the regal footsteps of bygone kings, ascend the timeworn stairways of ancient towers, stand at the golden altars of dignitaries long-departed. Taste Britain's history and heritage.
