These sheets are designed to give you all the basic information you need to know when considering studying in the UK. They provide guidance to popular subjects for study, application, costs and much more.

 
 

Club UK Magazine

The official British Council magazine for international students. Designed to create interest in the UK as a study destination by promoting the student experience in the UK. There are three editions a year and it is available to students from their university education advisors and international offices.

 
 

Prospects publications

Prospects is the UK's official graduate careers website. In addition to their online career resources, Graduate Prospects produce a wide range of publications that provide the latest career and postgraduate study advice and opportunities for students, graduates and career professionals. Students can get these free from most university career services or you can order online direct from Prospects.

 
 

Guide to UK Universities (Vol. 1 and 2)

This set of three guides includes a UK Universities, Colleges and Schools Handbook, an Undergraduate and Pre-University Guide, and a Postgraduate and MBA Guide. This comrehensive series includes information on institutions, courses, and how to apply. You can find these guides in the international offices of most major Canadian universities.

 
 

Literature Matters

Produced twice a year with free subscription. The e-magazine contains features and listings on recent fiction, poetry and literary prizes, discussions of trends in literature teaching overseas, and reports on recent festivals and conferences. Ideally suited to English teachers and professors.

 
 

New Writing

New Writing is an annual anthology of new literature in English from the UK and the Commonwealth, subsidised and administered by the British Council and published by Granta. It provides one of the few opportunities in the UK for unknown writers without an agent to get published by a leading fiction publisher.
