The Chevening scholarships are aimed at the leaders of tomorrow. They are highly competitive and limited in number. To be successful you must be able to demonstrate not only an outstanding academic record, but also clear leadership potential. You should have a proven track record of success or excellence in your professional life. The committee will be looking for you to demonstrate that you have more to offer than your peers and contemporaries, and have the potential and ambition to make a substantial, positive difference in your chosen field. You are also likely to have already worked for two to three years in your chosen profession as a Civil Servant, Journalist, Politician/Staffer or Jurist.
