financial support
We maintain an ongoing discussion with leading Canadian literary festivals about their plans for inviting writers from the UK. We offer financial support on a selective basis in order to help the Canadian events secure new and challenging British participation in their programming. Grants take the form of a contribution to festival budgets to help offset the costs of travel by individual UK writers agreed between us.
