Canadian Writers Festivals
Canada has a rich literary tradition and this is reflected in the number of writers festivals which are held annually across the country. These festivals highlight the diversity and excellence of both Canadian and international writers.

Toronto International Festival of Authors

This is the largest Writers Festival in the world, enjoying enormous prestige internationally among the writing and publishing communities.

Vancouver International Writers & Readers Festival

This Festival began in a modest way in 1987 and has now grown into a world class and much anticipated literary event in Vancouver.

Victoria Literary Arts Festival

The first annual Literary Arts Festival was held in Victoria in 1994 as part of the XV Commonwealth Games cultural celebration. It has become a lively and much anticipated event ever since.

Wordfest; Banff-Calgary International Writers Festival
