Books

Our members can use a variety of learning facilities and resources to help them with study and professional development. Our up to date stock of 24 000 books cover a wide range of subjects including education, management, information technology, humanities, law, economics, classic literature, contemporary fiction, reference, children's books and general interest.

DVDs

We have a DVD collection representing the best of British cinema, television, and documentary production. Find out the new DVD titles.

Reference collection

Consult a selection of encyclopaedias, directories, almanacs and guides for statistical and contact information as well as dictionaries and thesauri.

Periodical collection

Keep up to date with UK and world news by reading leading journals and magazines. Our periodical collection caters to all people with titles ranging from PC Advisor, Photography and Marketing Week to Majesty and British newspapers such as Observer and Weekly Telegraph.

MMM collection

The MMM collection specialises in books on Burma, ranging from rare editions to new publications.

Young Learners Collection

We want to encourage children to read in English. We have over 9 000 books in this collection for fun and learning with bright, colourful books for the young ones and a wide range of fiction for the older children. We also have a small collection of videos for children.
