The best way to find the books that you want is through the OPAC, so we will be more than happy to show you how to use it. But if you do not know how to use the computer, we have printed lists of books available for most major subjects. You can find the book lists beside the OPAC terminal. We can even send you the list you want by email. Contact Reference Librarian for this service. Back to top
In the first week of every month, we printed out the titles we have added to the collection in the previous month for your reference. The list is filed near the library registration desk. Alternatively, you can check our website www.britishcouncil.org/burma for a listing of new arrivals. Back to top

We publish two e-newsletters every month - British Council e-News and Connect e-newsletter. The first one is sent to the subscribers in the first week of the month and the second one in the third week.
If you do not receive any news from us in 3 weeks and you are using a free web email, first check the Junk Mails folder of your email account. Some free emails service routed the newsletters to Junk Mails folder instead of the Inbox.
And some web mail services, such as accamail blocked all e-newsletters from our mailing service provider.
If it is not the case, you may need to re-register yourself through our website www.britishcouncil.org/burma Back to top
