English for Young learners

Our suite of Young Learners courses caters for children and young people aged from 7 to 17 years. We are committed to providing a structured English language learning career that will support each learner in the process of reaching their full potential in a stimulating, rewarding and safe environment.
There are four main levels depending on the student age - Primary, Tween, Secondary and Young Adult.

Course Type Age Group Level Duration per term
Primary courses 7 – 9 years Each course has four levels. Our placement test will identify your level. 60 hours over 10 weeks. 2 hours per lesson.
Tween courses 10 – 12 years Each course has four levels. Our placement test will identify your level. 60 hours over 10 weeks. 2 hours per lesson.
Secondary courses 13 – 15 years Each course has four levels. Our placement test will identify your level. 60 hours over 10 weeks. 2 hours per lesson.
Young Adults courses 16 – 17 years Each course has four levels. Our placement test will identify your level. 60 hours over 10 weeks. 2 hours per lesson.

OUR TEACHING APPROACH
This interactive course uses a variety of methods, including individual and group work; class discussion; analysing texts; self-study; computers, video material and reference books. You are encouraged to become more independent in your learning and develop strategies to maximise learning opportunities.

TEACHING MATERIALS
You will need to buy a course book and a work book for your respective level.

FEES

  • Per Term: 310,000 MMK including library membership
  • Placement Test: 10,000 MMK

HOW TO REGISTER
You will need to take a placement test which allows us to see your level and place you in an appropriate class.  Testing takes place throughout the year on selected dates.
