ADULT GENERAL ENGLISH (AGED 18 AND ABOVE)
Many adults learn English with us so that they can improve the way they communicate every day or prepare for further studies.

Our courses are designed so that you will have lots of opportunities to practice using English. This will help you increase your language ability and confidence. We focus on developing the four language skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking and do this in a lively classroom atmosphere.

WHICH LEVELS DO YOU OFFER?
We offer courses at the following levels
Elementary
EL1
EL2
You will begin to communicate in English with confidence. You will participate in speaking and writing activities and focus on basic grammar and vocabulary.
Pre-Intermediate
PI1
PI2
You will build on your basic knowledge of English and develop your ability to use English in spoken and written communication.You will become more fluent and be able to use basic English grammar more effectively.
Intermediate
INT1
INT2
INT3
You will develop a wider range of language and vocabulary and learn how to use it flexibly in spoken and written communication. You will continue to develop your ability to read and understand a variety of texts.
Upper-Intermediate
UI1
UI2
UI3
You will extend the range of language you are able to understand and use, so that you can express yourself spontaneously and fluently. You will work towards developing greater grammatical control in spoken and written interaction.
Advanced
AD1
AD2
You will have opportunities to use language flexibly and effectively in a variety of contexts.You will broaden your language repertoire and work towards perfecting your grammatical accuracy.

How long is a course?
60 hours over 10 weeks, 2-hour lessons held 3 times a week.
Classes start from 7.00 am and finish at 15.45 from Monday to Saturday.

How much does it cost?

  • Per term: MMK 310,000 including library membership
  • Placement Test: MMK 10,000

HOW TO REGISTER?
You will need to take a placement test which will then allow us to see your level and place you in an appropriate class.  Testing takes place throughout the year on selected dates.  Please call us for more infromation.
