Please join us at the British Council Fair to discover our services and products we have to offer.

The British Council Fair is open to all and our staff will be delighted to answer your questions on studying opportunities in UK further and higher education, UK examinations, English courses offered at the Teaching Centre, and Library services provided for all learners of English. Moreover, you will also have the chance to learn more about our programmes in Arts, teacher training, Myanmar – UK Alumni network and social and community development.

All booths will be open from 10.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.

There will also be presentations which are designed to give you further information on studying opportunities in UK further and higher education, the basic elements in the components of IELTS exam, one of the world’s most popular English language assessment tests, services and learning materials available at Library & Information for library members of all ages and using games and activities to make learning English fun for children!

10.30 a.m. – 12.00 noon (Studying in the UK)

This presentation will cover everything you need to know about studying in the UK starting from UK Education System, available study options, level of study (Pre-university and Career-based, Undergraduate and Postgraduate Studies) including general entry requirements, course fees, application procedure, and also changes for international students on UK visa points-based system.

12.30 p.m. – 1.30 p.m. (Kids – ways to make learning interesting and fun)

2.00 p.m. – 3.00 p.m. (Overview of IELTS)

3.30 p.m. – 4.30 p.m. (Introduction to library services)

In this presentation, we will talk about the different types of memberships we offer, our library services and events, how to join these activities, the resources available and other useful tips for online services. We will also tell you about the CSI (Community Base Organisation) and projects we run for community development.

In addition, there will be fun activities for young learners and anyone who would like to participate can contact the British Council Library and Information Services for further information on how to join these activities.
