Theatre

We work with our Bulgarian partners to plan, resource, deliver and evaluate high-impact arts projects involving professional artists and organisations from the UK. We aim to promote new images of the UK, to establish long-term partnerships abroad and to attract younger audiences. We have been working in collaboration with Salon of the Arts Festival, Varna Summer International Theatre Festival, National Academy for Theatre and Film Arts and many other partners for the presentation of collaborative performances and educational activities.
In the last few years we started working on regional art projects with the participation of UK, Bulgarian and other artists from South East Europe. You can find more about the Creative Collaboration regional art project here.

Dance

We have been developing collaborative dance events as well as bringing the best of contemporary dance to Bulgaria. The aim is to spread knowledge and respect for contemporary UK dance, particularly within the Bulgarian dance profession. The performances of the contemporary UK dance companies visiting Bulgaria, like Ricochet, Random Dance, Nigel Charnock, Liz Lea, Russel Maliphant and Robert Tannion, have bee followed by training events with the participation of young Bulgarian dancers. As a result of these educational activities new partnerships were created between UK and Bulgarian dancers - Arabesques Ballet - Random Dance; Robert Tannion - Rossen Mihailov and others.

Music

We support public master classes by British teachers, which have helped to develop lasting relationships between musicians, their teachers and the public. At the end of these trainings there are usually public presentations by the students attended by numerous audiences. The music projects are also delivered in collaboration with different Bulgarian partners like Apollonia Festival, DS Music, Rousse March Music Days International Festival and many others.
