Following the two projects - 'ICT in Education' and 'ICT and Developing School Leadership' supported by the Ministry of Education, in 2009 the British Council launched another project in partnership with the National Institute for Training School Managers (NIOD).
We chose the topic having in mind the Ministry of Education’s priorities for capacity building and staff development of Bulgarian schools, the success of the two projects and the expert knowledge and experience that the UK can contribute to the effective use of ICT for the management of Bulgarian schools.
This project offers the Ministry of Education and school headmasters, through the National Institute for Training School Managers, models of good practice in school management, performance evaluation and opportunities for building professional contacts with the National Institute for School Leadership and Children Services in the UK.
