The Examinations Services centre at British Council Bulgaria organises Teacher Training seminars for the IELTS and the Cambridge ESOL exams. They are conducted by experienced trainers with a long experience in teaching and examining.
The seminars are designed for teachers who already have some experience with these tests or who plan to start preparing students for them in the future. School managers can order a certain type of seminar(s) for all or a group of their teachers.

IELTS seminars cover all four test components - Speaking, Listening, Reading, Writing. The seminar materials have been specifically designed by British Council IELTS experts to help teachers better prepare their students for the exam.
You can choose between a two-day seminar (covers all four test components) or a one-day seminar (for either a combination of Speaking and Listening or Writing and Reading).

Cambridge ESOL seminars are organised jointly by the British Council and Cambridge ESOL, designed by Cambridge ESOL experts. There are different topics available for each exam such as FCE, CAE etc. Here is a list of the seminar topics that we can offer. Some of them could be combined to suit your own needs. A single-topic seminar usually lasts half a day (3 to 4 hours).

We aim to organise seminars at a date, time and place that suits you best. To be able to do this, however, we ask you to do the following:

			Send us a list of all participants. The minimum number of participants is 3; maximum - 30
			Submit a seminar request at least 4 weeks prior the chosen date
			Provide suitable premises for conducting the seminar
			Pay a seminar fee

Seminar Fees
For seminars held in Sofia: BGN 250.00 per a seminar of a half-day (3-4 hours)
For seminars held in other cities, outside Sofia: BGN 250.00 per a seminar of a half-day plus additional related costs such as travel, accommodation, meals, rent of premises etc.
Payment can be arranged as follows:
- by bank transfer to: Citibank, 2 Maria Louiza Street, Sofia, IBAN (Leva account): BG24 CITI 9250 1051 0009 03.
It is important to write against „Основание за плащане”: „Такса за семинар”. When making a payment by bank transfer you must attach to your request a clear copy of your bank statement or send it by fax/email.
- cash at the British Council Customer Service Centre, ground floor, Monday to Friday, 09.00-18.00.
The payment of your seminar attendance fee will be considered as your final confirmation for attendance.
