If you are a teacher of English, native or non-native speaker, are interested in becoming a Cambridge ESOL oral examiner and have:
- education to first degree level or equivalent
- a recognised TESOL qualification
- at least three years' full-time, relevant teaching experience
- age over 25 and under national retirement age on appointment
- overall language proficiency relevant to the examination level, including clear diction
you are invited to submit your completed and signed Oral Examiner Nomination Form and clear copies of supporting documents such as diplomas and/or certificates to prove: your education to first degree; TESOL qualifications and/or teaching experience; your English language proficiency if your first language is not English (See the MPRs for non-native ESOL OE) to Examinations Services Manager, British Council, 7 Krakra Street, 1504 Sofia by post or by fax 02 942 43 06
Only suitable applicants whose application package is complete with all supporting documents will be contacted by us and invited to attend an OE induction/training sessions at British Council Sofia.
Recruitment of Oral Examiners is open throughout the whole year and you are welcome to apply any time. You will be considered for inclusion in an upcoming training session for new examiners.
