Launch of the Addvantage Programme
Partnership Programme for Institutions
Bulgarian schools, universities and language centres can now become members of the Addvantage programme, British Council’s global partnership programme creating new opportunities for students from all over the country. Institutions meeting the membership criteria will gain free access to various educational resources for preparation for the Cambridge ESOL exams.

The Addvantage programme was launched in Bulgaria on 15 October 2010 at the Romain Rolland Foreign Language School in Stara Zagora which is one of the best foreign language schools in the country and a British Council regional examination centre. The launch included a presentation about the benefits of the Addvantage programme by Peter Ashton, Director English Language Services, and two free seminars for teachers. The seminars were focused on "IELTS Writing" and "Computer-based testing – a guide for teachers".

The event, attended by 54 representatives of schools preparing candidates for the Cambridge ESOL exams from all over Bulgaria, was organised in recognition of the close relationships we have built with them over the years.
