The Royal Belgian Benevolent Society (RBBS) in London offers a limited number of small awards to postgraduates of Belgian nationality who wish to study in the UK and have particular difficulty in meeting the costs involved.
The scheme runs every two years, is flexible, and can provide for varying periods of study from three months to a complete academic year (Please note that the scheme is not aimed at Bachelor's and PhD students).
The money awarded can be used for any of the different costs involved in taking a Master's degree in the UK. Students could, for example, use the money to cover tuition fees or their accomodation whilst in the UK.
Awards can be anything up to £1500 per person. The amount of money awarded is decided according to the individual circumstances of the student and the recommendations of the awarding committee.
