The Migrant Integration Policy Index is an exciting new tool to present the integration policies of the EU member states in a format which is concise, transparent and comparable.
The Migrant Integration Policy Index (MIPEX) presents scores for each Member State on over 100 indicators in six key areas of integration policy: political participation, anti-discrimination, long-term residence, nationality, family reunion and access to the labour market. The Index is published in October 2007. Events around the MIPEX in the form of presentations, publication launches or open discussions, are taking place in cities around Europe. The events, which run until March 2008, will widen the impact of the research, consolidate the network, and stimulate debate and the exchange of good practice. To find out more, including a full breakdown of the results and a series of interactive comparative maps and charts, visit the project website: www.integrationindex.eu
