Many people today withhold taking action because they believe individual actions are but a drop in the ocean. But some of these people believe that together we can make a difference and due to this, they came to our Café Scientifique last 20 September in Recife. seguro para as gerações futuras. Também foram discutidas formas de maximizar estas ações para que elas tenham efeito mais concreto, se tornando sustentáveis.
Gustavo Costa Lima talked about causes and effects of climate change and how individual, community and political actions can influence changes in attitude and behaviour which can result in cultural changes in a whole society, contributing towards a safer planet for the future generations. Suggestions for making the most of these actions so that they can be effective and sustainable will also be discussed.
