If you would like to acquire an international certificate recognised the world over as the most efficient way to prove your English language skills, you should take the IELTS!

If you intend to start studying abroad, you should know that the IELTS is accepted by institutions throughout the United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand, as well as in the United States, Canada and other English-speaking countries.

In addition to being a test required for entering educational institutions, IELTS is also required for student and/or immigrant visa processes by the Governments of Australia, New Zealand and Canada.

More than 700,000 people a year are now using IELTS to open doors to international education and employment throughout the English-speaking world and beyond. IELTS is recognised by over 4,500 organisations worldwide including education institutions, professional associations, government agencies and employers. Over 1,200 US higher education institutions among others in the world accept IELTS scores as proof of English language skills.

Fee and documents required for test enrolment:

  • Recent 3x4 photo
  • Original and one simple photocopy of identification document
  • Completed and signed enrolment form (download)
  • Payment of the fee (check IELTS centre for price)

Prepare yourself for IELTS

An IELTS kit is available. The kit enables candidates to familiarise themselves with the test format and consists of a preparation manual and a cassette. The manual and the CD provide the candidate with practice material for both academic and general training tests together with answer keys and comments.
