In July and August 2004, the Brazilian - British Centre in São Paulo was the host to the exhibition New British Artists of works by 13 rising British artists who took part in the Fresh Art Fair of 2003 - one of the most important events dedicated to the promotion of new artistic talent in London.

Many of the paintings deal with themes related to the city and the media.
