Policy dialogues

What are the strategic education policy dialogues?
As part of PMI2, a series of high-level dialogues are taking place in key regions around the world. Each dialogue focuses on a specific area and brings together groups of policy makers, senior managers and practitioners from the UK and overseas.

Each dialogue is followed up by a jointly agreed action plan, including research or other appropriate collaborations.

What are the overall aims and objectives of the policy dialogues?

PMI2 partnerships: to communicate the key strands and opportunities for strengthening relationships between the UK and international partners through strategic dialogues in areas of joint priority.
Knowledge sharing: to create a forum for strategic and policy dialogue to increase mutual understanding of priorities and possible co-operation areas.
Towards a common agenda: to identify common agenda, possible co-operation areas and to develop mutually beneficial collaborative projects.
