We run a UK Education Specialist agent training programme. This training programme aims to foster knowledgeable agents and to help them to provide accurate information about education in the UK in their counselling and referral services.
The training programme on UK Education is available to all agents who have been a registered business in Korea for at least one year. The training is both online and face-to-face, and is followed by a qualification test. The training covers studying & living in the UK and the UK education system. The test is designed to make agents think about realistic situations, and to apply their training to those situations. This test itself is a good example of the UK educational approach, which focuses on teaching students how to think, not just what to think. The pass rate for the test in 2008 was 38%.
The agencies listed below have successfully completed the training and test, and are entitled to use the British Council web-banner. This banner is an indication of their knowledge, enthusiasm and commitment to the promotion of UK education.
