1.China Partnership Meeting September 2011

The 2011 China Country Partners’ Meeting took place on 22 September at the Institute of Education, University of London. Over 75 representatives from China partner institutions attended this meeting. The British Council China team provided latest update on British Council’s role and education work in China and the China education market. The meeting also included the presentation from UK Border Agency representative who gave an update on student visa information and a presentation from guest speakers from Chinese authority about the Chinese education certificate system and the management and verification.

2. China Partnership Meeting June 2010

The 2010 China Country Partners’ Meeting took place on 18th June at the School of Pharmacy, University of London. Over 70 representatives from China partner institutions attended this meeting. The British Council China team provided latest update on China education market and Education UK Partnership services.The meeting also included presentations from three guest speakers who gave partners a new insight into China market from different perspectives:

3. 2010 PBS Tier 4 China Update Meeting

The 2010 China Visa Briefing took place on 23rd June at the School of Pharmacy, University of London. Over120 representatives from Higher Education, English Language Training and Further Education sectors attended the meeting. The staff from UKBA provided latest updates on current visa situation, the role of UKBA in China and how UKBA can support institutional recruitment activities.
