climate change resources for media

The materials include a series of modules designed to create a clear understanding of the issue of climate change. The modules are divided into two units; the first includes topics such as the definition and explanation of climate change, how it is measured and what effects it will have. The second unit focuses on international action being taken to tackle climate change. Topics include identifying key players in the international discussion on climate change and the rationale behind policy making and international emission reduction targets. Additional resources focus on specific agreements such as the UK Climate Change Act, and examples of modern climate change adaptation techniques. Two more units will be available in September 2010.
