Designgoods

Designgoods is a new and unique brand of designer products and it is a result of a close cooperation between professional designers, craftspeople with disabilities and business experts. It represents a range of design products created by organizations that employ people with disabilities, namely Center for Self-Reliance, Librag and Pismolik from Sarajevo. For the first time, employees of these organizations participate in all stages of production, from planning, designing, manufacturing, advertising, to product distribution. Through such inclusive process, they acquire new skills, gain additional confidence, and ensure the sustainability of their production.

Designgoods contribute to fair integration of people with disabilities into the social and economic trends in Bosnia and Herzegovina. This brand is an excellent example of corporate social responsibility which underlines, appreciates, and promotes the skills and the work of people of different ages, genders, abilities and knowledge.

Designgoods originated and developed from the All Inclusive Sarajevo project implemented in 2009. It was conceptualized, realized and will continue to be monitored by: Association Kulturanti, British Council, Royal College of Art Helen Hamlyn Centre for Design, Studio Lisica, D&H Agency, in partnership with the Center for Self-Reliance, Librag and Pismolik.
