Applications are invited for the following post:
We are inviting applications for examiners from qualified teachers who are willing to work in our centres in Dhaka, Chittagong and Sylhet.
Applicants must have the following qualifications and teaching experience:
•An undergraduate degree or a qualification which can be demonstrated to be equivalent to an undergraduate degree.
•A recognised TEFL/TESOL qualification at certificate level such as the Cambridge ESOL Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults (CELTA) or the Trinity College London Certificate in TESOL (CertTESOL).
•Three years full time post-qualification, teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) experience (or the equivalent part time) if the applicant has a certificate level TEFL/TESOL qualification.
•If the applicant has one of the desirable qualifications listed above all relevant TESOL teaching experience can be considered but at least one year (or the equivalent part time) must be post-qualification.
•Willing to travel within the country

Interested candidates should complete and sign the application form with a passport size photograph and send the hard copy to , Director Examinations, British Council, 5 Fuller Road, Dhaka 1000. by Wednesday 30th July 2008.

•To manage the delivery of a range of agreed financial services (budget preparation, forecasting) financial reporting, checking, monitoring and reconciliation of all financial reports of our MATT and SHIREE projects. To maintain liaison with project offices of MATT and SHIREE.
•To source and explore projects.
•To manage Grant Funded spreadsheet so that high quality events with partners, stakeholders, technical experts, internal and external clients and professionals in order to meet the needs of internal and external clients and stakeholders to promote Britain and the British Council as a valued partner.
