Cambridge International Examination (CIE)

How are the papers graded?
All completed exam papers are returned to Edexcel International for marking. Results are issued in the form of seven official grades. There are five grades of pass, Grades A, B, C, D and E, of which Grade A is the highest and Grade E the lowest. These grades are recorded on the certificate. This grade will be recorded on the certificate. An unclassified result will be indicated by Grade U and will not be recorded on the certificate.
